    Protest Organized Against Barney's Over Recent Racial Profiling Of Shoppers

    Representatives from Barneys, Saks, Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, and the Gap gathered today at the behest of Reverend Al Sharpton to resolve the recent fallout from a string of high profile lawsuits filed against Macy’s and Barney’s after black shoppers were stopped for making purchases. Members of the New York Civil Liberties Union and the National Action Network were also present. Together, this makeshift coalition created a Customers’ Bill of Rights that will (hopefully) result in the fair treatment of all shoppers.
