December 24th is not only Christmas Eve, but also National Eggnog Day. On a fateful day in 1826, US Military Soldiers smuggled inexpensive whiskey into the barracks to make Eggnog for Christmas Day—an event now known as the Eggnog Riot. Originally crafted in Europe centuries ago, Eggnog eventually made its way to America and into our hearts to become a holiday staple, even drank by George Washington with rum, brandy, sherry and whiskey!
The team over at Mulberry Project combined traditional family recipes with their mixology expertise to create a delicious and unique eggnog recipe infused with taste and tradition.
