    Lesson:

Do you know when it’s time to move on? Some things aren’t meant to be.  Everything from your past does not belong in your present.  To hold onto relationships and circumstances that have already moved on without you is to stay stuck in a place and time that no longer exists.  Moving on doesn’t mean you completely forget the wonderful things from your past, it just means that you find a positive way of surviving without them in your present.

Sometimes we are faced with situations and circumstances in our lives that need a fresh look or need to be eliminated once and for all. We have allowed certain behaviors; conditions and people stay around past their expiration date. We have tolerated attitudes, mistreatment, neglect and abuse one time too many and now have finally come to the point where we realize it is time to move on. The realization that things have changed for the better or the worse can take time to adjust to. It is in times like these that we remember the wisdom of Ecclesiastes 3:1, “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven.”We cannot experience the best of God when we hold on to what is comfortable.

Erica  knew that her time to try something new was necessary. Tina knew that she had to stop and focus on her family over Mary Mary. Unfortunately,  it was an unfortunate truth that set this into motion. Goo Goo had to accept what everyone else was thinking and saying.

It may be time to move on when all your resources have been exhausted in an area and future growth is unlikely. It may be time to move on when you begin to realize that no matter what improvements you make, personally or professionally, nothing seems to change around you.
