Here is what he had to say:
I think that it’s amazing what is going on with the new and innovative ways that we are finding to spread the message of Jesus Christ. You have people like Joel Osteen, Mary Mary, and Bishop T.D. Jakes leading the way.
A lot of times as Christians we don’t always see the bigger picture and we begin to judge others without having all the proper information to access the situation. A lot of people think that recording artists, preachers and Bible teachers etc. are compromising their faith or straddling the fence when really they’re spreading the gospel in dark places. Even the Bible talks about Christians being the light of the world. In Matthew 5:14-16, ”Here’s another way to put it: You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don’t think I’m going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I’m putting you on a light stand. Now that I’ve put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you’ll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven.
How can light shine in light? If we don’t step out of our comfort zones and do what we’re called to do we can’t make impact. We’re the examples of God in the earth so if we don’t go who will go. Every single day someone is going to hell and we have a lot of work to do! We should be praying and lifting up our brothers and sisters in Christ, because they’re at war. Now it’s time for self reflection. What are you doing to be the light of the world? Are you doing your part to spread the Gospel? Don’t be so busy criticizing others to the point where you’re slacking. Let’s go get souls!
