I am a little biased for two reasons. I have seen the Broadway play 6 times and I am a child of the 1980′s. It will be nice to see my younger years on the screen. In the Broadway play the role that Mary J Blige plays is a mother figure to young strippers. It appears that they have kept it the same.
Set in 1987 Los Angeles, Drew and Sherrie are two young people chasing their dreams in the big city. When they meet, it’s love at first sight, though their romance will face a series of challenges
