Rodney King was found dead at the bottom of a swimming pool by his fiancée earlier today. He was 47.
Rodney King became a household name in 1991, after suffering police brutality by the hands and weapons of the LAPD. The ordeal was caught on videotape but the officers involved with the beating were acquitted of all the charges. This incited the Los Angeles Riots.
