Ladies, HIV Is Killing Us Softly
My god-sister posted a blog yesteday that I thought was incredibly important. I decided to re-post it here with you. It specifically hit a chord because of all of the drama that has surrounded my life in the past two years, after discovering the person I married was on the down low. Of course – well, I shouldn’t say “of course” because some women stick around, but it’s an “of course” for me…of course we are no longer married, but the lingering afterthought of the many women who did not come out of their relationships unscathed forever permeates my thinking. HIV/AIDS is running rampant among African American women – especially those in high risk heterosexual relationships. She (my god-sister) did a wonderful job at educating. Enjoy!

It is my belief that most Americans think that HIV/AIDS is now a global problem and almost eradicated in the United States. Sadly, this is far from the truth. According to the CDC, in 2006 approximately 1.1 million people in the United States are living with HIV and 1 in 5 are undiagnosed. Twenty-one percent!
A staggering 232,700 individuals living with HIV and are unaware of their status. Keep in mind that this number is from 2006, one can only guess what these numbers look like today. Given these statistics, the annual National HIV Testing Day on June 27 is a necessity. The National Association of People With AIDS (NAPWA) initiated National HIV Testing Day ” to promote the importance of early HIV detection, counseling, referral, treatment, and prevention services.” Every year community based organizations, governmental agencies, health care centers, churches and others partner with NAPWA to encourage and provide widespread HIV testing. In 2006, President Obama and his wife Michelle stressed the importance of HIV testing and led by example. They were publicly tested for HIV while visiting Kenya, here is footage from that visit and his message this year.
As an African-American woman I am fervent about the importance of HIV testing. I spent over a decade of my professional career focused on issues related to HIV/AIDS both domestically and abroad in South Africa and Botswana. My interest began when as a broke graduate student I wanted to be tested and did not have money for the test. The clinic I visited had the “give what you can” policy and I decided to volunteer to educate others and thus an advocate was born. Little did I know that my demographic would soon have the fastest growing numbers of HIV/AIDS. Although African Americans are approximately 13% of the US population, they accounted for 49% of new HIV diagnoses! Latinos account for 18% of the new cases. In the United States, the minority population is being hit hard and fast by HIV. Personally, the statistics for African-American women are even more troubling. From the CDC:
“Women of color are especially affected by HIV infection and AIDS. African American women make up only 12% of the female population in the United States, yet they account for 66% of new HIV infections. In 2004, HIV infection was the leading cause of death for African American women aged 25-34 years and the third leading cause of death for African American women aged 35-44 years. In 2005, the rate of AIDS diagnoses for African American women was 20 times the rate for White women. HIV/AIDS-related conditions are now the leading cause of death for African American women aged 25-34 years. The reasons for increased AIDS incidence and deaths among African American women are complex.”
Advocates are not taking these numbers sitting down, to raise awareness and honor of National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, Karyn and Luvvie started The Red Pump Project:
“That’s how The Red Pump Project was born…Out of our desire to make a difference and ask others to do the same. When we put out the call for bloggers to join our cause, we hoped that we’d get a great response, but never really imagined something like this! 125 bloggers responded! Our goal was 100, so believe us when we say “Thank you from the bottoms of our hearts!”
The Red Pump Project is now a national initiative that is doing work on the ground and online to ensure that women are empowered with knowledge about HIV/AIDS and the issues surrounding it. We have 16 ambassadors in 14 states Rocking the Red Pump to raise awareness about the impact of HIV/AIDS on women & girls.”
The numbers for black and Latina young women are alarming – 79% of new HIV infections in young women 13-19 years of age are in this demographic. My Sistahs is a website “written by and for young women of color to provide information and support on sexual and reproductive health issues through education and advocacy.” This site is full of helpful information and encourages young women to be tested not only for HIV but for all STDs. In my opinion, this type of education is important every day, not just on those specified to raise awareness. Like Marvelyn Brown, a young woman living with HIV I wonder – what about the day after? On her blog, The Naked Truth; Young, Beautiful and (HIV) Positive, Marvelyn writes:
“I am grateful for the World AIDS Day programs and events that raise awareness, but what happens on December 2nd? I want to see AIDS talked about all the time and in the same way I see those eye-catching beer commercials that make you laugh or those movie trailers that remind you that that the hot new Denzel flick is coming out. Picture this: One summer day, you are sitting with your girls eating popcorn in the theatre, waiting for the movie to start and that guy who does all the trailers says, “Coming to a theatre near you…H-I-V.” Would you pay attention?”
I want to take this one step further and profess my support of HIV testing as a routine part of health care. We could do away with these “days” and have an easy way to promote early intervention for individuals with HIV. In 2006, the CDC released the Revised Recommendations for HIV Testing of Adults, Adolescents, and Pregnant Women in Health care Settings. These guidelines encouraged routine HIV testing in all health care settings for individuals 13 to 64 after the patient is notified and they would have the opportunity to opt out. These recommendations received a great deal of criticism for many reasons (including lack of funding by health care providers to purchase tests, confusion regarding implementation, age, etc) but personally I am fully in favor of routine testing. I believe that this will diminish and ultimately alleviate the stigma attached to testing and assist in the early diagnosis which is key for treatment options that can prolong health.
Is routine testing controversial? Maybe. Needed? Absolutely. Until a shift in perception occurs we will continue to have stigma, late diagnosis, and illnesses that may have been prevented with early detection.
Although HIV/AIDS may not be making national headlines, I hope that I have convinced you that this is still a problem of epidemic proportions in the U.S. in communities of color. I truly believe that routine testing (with the option to opt out) is the only way that we will be able to help individuals that are unknowingly infected, raise awareness and potentially change behavior of those that are HIV negative. I still support National HIV Testing Day, World AIDS Day, Women’s and Girl’s HIV/AIDS Day and others but I look forward to the time when such days will cease to exist because we are all being routinely tested.

Ladies!! Make the man wear a condom PLEASE! It is imperative to yur health! It’s not just the women that are being premiscuous it’s the men too! Most of the women are catching it from the men!! You can be a carrier of the virus and have no symptoms and not be HIV positive andcan spread the virus to others!!!! It’s so scary and so sad!!!
lol @dmello559 also adulterers mao…xtube has lot dudes who are HIV positive, having sex wit females. It’s baffling dat women stoop so low and become weak, just like Eve.
If you dont want to get HIV/AIDS stop fornicating!! Duh!!
If you don’t want to get HIV/AIDS, stop fornicating!! Duh!!
The great Dr. Joseph Lowery stated, many years ago, that when the country catches a cold, in the Black community it progresses to pneumonia–whether AIDs, abortions, crime, or unemployment the Black community is most adversely affected. Education can take us a long way, and we won’t learn it from the likes of BET and other Black media that continue to perpetuate irresponsible behavior– taking responsibility is a major key. We are led to believe “everybody’s doing it”; that’s a lie everybody is not doing it, rather some are waiting for their life partner. I did. Practicing celibacy until joined with a committed marriage partner is not just a good idea, it’s a matter of life and death.
The only one you can trust is “God” period. Cause that FINE! Brotha or Sista or White Woman or whoever could have “AIDS” and everything else for that matter. Sadly we have sick individuals who sleep with their family pets and farm animals and you don’t know what kind of diseases them or their pets have. Stick with the man and woman God gave you and make sure you get tested together. And when looking for a mate start with God, and do it the way God says to do it. Not how this sick twisted world says to do it. Or you’ll both be busting “HELL” wide open. For some getting “AIDS” or any other STD is “GOD’S PUNISHMENT” for not obeying him and being so dog-gone hard headed. God is angry and he ain’t playin look around. Live right and live, live wrong and die bottom line.
Thank you for your post on HIV. It is surprising to see the statistics. Education and early intervention is so needed. Especially for men.
This is very disturbing. I was once in a relationship with a man who didn’t get tested. Although I was faithful, I had no idea what he was doing, so I made it my business to get tested every 6 months and make him wear protection. I’m not going to play anyones fool and let them permanently damage my body. This is disgusting.
The problem with this article and others like it is- when stating stats such as: the rate of contracting hiv is 20 times greater for bw than ww, it’s imperative that you understand ww are seen by private doctors that DO NOT disclose their hiv/std/aids status. Most bw visit public medical facilities that are obligated to disclose ‘ALL’ disease findings.
I think that the comment Moke made is ridiculous. He is trying to down-grade black women by calling us hoes like black men don’t hoe around too. We don’t know who yall are sleeping with either. I’ll admit, there are some nasty black females, but all of us aren’t like that. A few of us have class, respect and business about ourselves, so don’t go playing that card here. However, I feel that HIV/AIDS is something that EVERYONE needs to know about. Yes, this article may be helpful to a few, but we need to be talking prevention and testing for the population as a whole. I have a friend that recently found out that he was HIV positive and he doesn’t know where he got it from or where to start looking to find out. It’s sad.
I feel most females are scared to get tested. We have to love one another but most of all our selfs. Put your trust in God..he will always be by your side he will never judge you!
GOD IS LOVE..
the statistics are taking from public clinic records across the nation in which a large proportion of black americans rely on for medical attention moreso from familys with privite doctors who don’t have to report their medical condition to public statistics. for over 20 years i’ve been reading a strong anticipation of this disese ravaging the black community for reasons of poverty, poor education, or our so called eradicate sexual behavior. and i allways had the ? why are we (afro americans) so singled out when it comes to this disese. i’m not saying the issue should be overlooked, but explained to me how do you have an epidemic if 60% of 1-2 million people out of 40 million african americans who are effected by this disese.is it a way to distract us from focusing on the true epedimic which is glorifying ignorance, killing each other, selling each other out, eating poorly, exploiting our own negitivety, drinking and taking things our body’s don’t need, and praising entitys and sustances that keeps us going backwards. cause i here more of my people in my hood dying from guns, alcohol, poor diets, tention and stress ect. than HIV/AIDS. think about it.because in my opinion not only is it blown way out of proportion but it creates a very nasty stereotype of us. my people wake up!
HIV/AIDS is very serious in our community and the brothers and the sisters need to be more aware, do more research and teach the children about the dangers of this disease. For those that want to point fingers and dis-credit the sisters for not being aware… be aware of this the other races catch the disease just like us and you don’t know what they are doing either!!!
its sad how people can comment on celeberties and not take this article half serious. i always tell my friends and all to keep it safe no matter what a man tells you, and get tested because my black queens are the most infected by this deadly virus!
Most post here make sense, except for one. It is not that black women are quick to open their legs, strip, or any other crazy excuse such as that. Saying that is why a black male would go to a white woman would make someone question your intelligence level. HIV/AIDS has no color sweetie! But that is the problem. Black males are naive and do not think. The problem is when males are not honest. I agree that it is believe that more males have it then women, but do not get checked there for it is unknown. Not only that for some reason many black males still do not know the importance of protection. There are plenty of women that have to stop males right before the point of entry because the dummy believes that even in 2009 it is okay to have unprotected sex. And yes “Just putin’ it in and/or just putin’ in the head” is dangerous and stupid. Take some responsibility over your body and consideration for anyone else’s that you plan to engage upon. To God Be The Glory.
we need to face the true! humans we dont last for ever!

Sisters and Ladies…
We are in control… We are in control of our minds. We are in control of our spirits. We are in control of our bodies. DO NOT let any man abuse any of the aforementioned for any reason. A promise of relationship is not good enough to put your mind body and soul at risk. We deserve respect and self respect is the most important. I DEMAND HIV screening before even considering a man beyond a conversation. I DEMAND safety. I DEMAND transparency. I DEMAND accountability. I use condoms. I buy condoms. No Condom, NO Time. DO NOT Allow yourself to be put at risk for anything, anyone! Be Continually Blessed and love thyself first.
~The Lamb.
very strange how some of these comments always placing blame on black women, yet they are sleeping around with black men, and some of those same black men are sleeping with those other white women and some men even…. the problem is not within black women, its within society period…. People should protect themselves at all costs because if you gonna sleep with a man, you never know which woman or man or both he might have been with, thats where closet freaks derive from.
Please adults, teach your children abstinence and protection…. We as black women have to be more careful who we sleep with…. If thats the case.
I sure hope those numbers represent the 100 or so women they studied because thats alarmingly high for such a small race of people.
Always better to take precautions
I actually feel that this is a very relevant topic. Being a lesbian female, I come across a lot of these cases. I know a few, actually more than a few, males who are on “the DL”, and it actually sickens me. I only know of ONE bisexual male that tells his lady partners about his sexuality. HIV is real, it DOES exist. Some tend to carry this mentality that it just couldn’t happen to them. One of my DEAREST and CLOSEST friends contracted this virus from his partner of TWO year. Love and cherish your bodies, GET TESTED!!! Not just one time to be sure. Make it a semi-annual thing. If you’re promiscuous, before, with, and after EVERY partner. HIV/AIDS is becoming just another black-on-black crime. Stop the violence, and cease the disease!
Crimes against women has taken place since the days of Jack the Ripper, We have been raped, murdered by the flock and no one has batted an eyelash, as if it’s exceptable. Now our black men have become our killers thru sex. the sad part of it is that it’s almost as if they don’t care. Thru being sexually abused in prison they are being released into society without any warning and their not telling it’s down right SHAMEFUL that we’re dying for the sins of MEN!!!!!!!!
I think that all women should get tested for HIV. Even if you are married because married men cheat more than boyfriends. What is sad is that black men these days make it so hard for a young black woman to trust him.
It used to be that men were cheating on women with women. However, now men are having sex with other men. These downlow men are an abomination to the human race and need to be eliminated from the world! Sorry people but I just can not stand the thought of men having sex with other men and then coming home to their wives or girlfriends.
But the problem is not with downlow men. The problem is with people, not just men, not being mature and responsible enough to respect each other. “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you” that is what Jesus said. but you have married preachers and deacons having infidelities in their marriages.
Very simply: “Black people need to respect each other more”. If we respect each other then their would be honesty. If their was honesty then their would be no outside sexual activities.
…..But maybe I am just living in the dream world because their would never be any respect, honesty, and level or moral in black relationships.
Excuse me, MOKE, I refuse to believe that YOU get into relationships with “white women”, due to high number of infected African American women. Yes, YOU may have encountered some African American females, who’ve slept around for money or whatever it is that u claim, however please keep in mind, that these types of women come in all COLORS, shapes and sizes. Seriously(smh)……………
If one truly believes that god is fair and that he is truly in control. then one must admit that if the numbers are correct, that black women are doing something terrible to themselves….. I believe the exodus from marriage is a big part of it. I often her sistas telling their daughters to not get married young. but they are for her having a boyfriend. are these the morals we are teaching or kids? YES. so when the consequences of our actions catch up with us we shouldnt be surprised. For the sista who choose to marry homosexuals. ask yourself two questions. 1. How many real men did you turn down in your quest to find someone who fits that prissy man image you have in your mind. 2. how many times did god let you see that something isnt right here. then you ignored it because he looks good enough to brag to friends. its about more than superficial things but our sistas dont seem to want to understand that. so we are left with this end result. what a terrible choice we have made for ourselves
@ moke
White women get HIV too brother okay. This has nothing to do with who you with. If you decided to go to a white woman is because you always toyed about the matter anyway. That’s been going on for years. You can get HIV from anybody, black white whoever, it doesn’t matter. Like Kita said there is a lot of black men that don’t get tested let alone go to the doctor for that matter. I know a lot of black men that don’t go to the doctor let alone health department for anything. If you talking about women stripping then that’s the type of women YOU expose yourself to. HIV is affects all of us. Talking about each other and judging and putting women in categories will not solve the problem. Many men don’t wear condoms and what about these DL brothers that go and sleep with a man and go back with their wives what about those types. So don’t sit here and blame women with HIV it’s everybody’s responsiblity to wrap it up.
Here is what’s sad… from what I can gather most of my black sisters ARE HOES FOR MONEY!!! I am not talking streetwalkers I am talking buy me this buy me that then you can get the couchie.
Their are very few good black women out their and fortunately I found mine recently.
I absolutely agree with you Mike D.- HIV IS preventable. The challenge is that the governmental agencies who control the funds responsible for promoting “safer” sex, testing and HIV treatment, allocate the lion’s share of the monies available to TESTING and TREATMENT, not to PREVENTION. Take it from an HIV TraineR/Advocate who has the inside track. And Michelle, this year, to date, I have personally tested approximately 1100 people at testing events (very diverse racial mixes at the events). Of those who tested positive, 99% were African American women and under age 40…sistas who reflect my demographic. I was once young, in college, careless and carefree without much though to my personal safety and future. Therefore, but for the grace of God go I, HIV free. We’re doing our best to educate our sistas and brothers, but they have to want to KNOW. Get tested.
the numbers were high. i am not surprised. i live in a small town but there is a high rate of hiv infection. no one wants to believe their man is gay, is a drug addict, or just a trick. the church needs to speak on this too instead of telling women do not leave their womanizing husbands or stay with a crackhead. i think if the church encouraged women to get out of bad situations instead of throwing the name of god in their faces things would get better. god does not want you to stay with a man who may make you sick and cause your death. that is not what god wants.i talk to my daughter and i tell her to strap up at all times. if he has anything he won’t tell you.i also told her watch out for these men who have been in jail and have done bids. you have to be very careful..
well poeple need the real facts 1st they throw numbers up but the gov hasproveing 2 destore real facts and numbers all the way back 2 the 60 wit kensey report at that time in early 60 said 4 10 poeple homei they do this 4 there own agenda also yall need get hold of book newworld exposed were it found what you should no if your black world health orgtion made aids in lab in 1974 at first in early 70 it was called a type of cancer they need a way kill large numbers of poeple aka poor poeple of color and guys in 1978 in clinacs all across us they put word they need guy men not 1 in cometted real but ones wit searval panters to try this new drug hum sound like tugkee z anyway at same in third world countrys south amerkkk and afica it happed way is 4-5 years later in 82 when guys in amerkkk got it same in africa strait couple had it 2 ? black wake up your asleep same monster who made this disase also had in slavery your are still in slavery if you obma can change things he works 4 these same monsters yes we have becareful but also its time awake to who we real are if not we desever what ever they try 2 do to us
MOKE UR A JOKE AND A JERK. BLACK WOMEN ARE NOT THE ONLY ONES STRIPPING OR OPENING THEIR LEGS( FOR MONEY) WHITE WOMEN DO THE SAME THING AND CARRY THE DISEASE AS WELL AND A LOT OF THEM GET THE DISEASE FROM BLACK MEN LIKE U!!!!!!!
First it is plenty of ways to stop HIV/AIDS but if that method were working we would not be seeing these stories. And for mike
is working in the adult industry this not true they get tested everytime they switch partners please dont speak on what you dont know.
The bottom line is why advertise condoms if people are not using them but even if you use condoms you should get tested every 3-6 months and use caution with the people you have intercourse with just because it glitters its gold that is not the case. As a young black male i say please help yourself get TESTED not just AIDS/HIV all STDs please.
just want to say a few words. i have read all the post that are posted before me. i want to say to the world and anybody that is listening. i had a male worker that i worked with for about 3yrs. but knew more than that. i met him when we started working at the same place and just wanting you to know. this man had aids for about 10 yrs. before he died. i didn’t find out until close to the 10th yr with aids. he was a homo sexual which i knew but did not know that he was sick because there was no signs. one thing i will say that i did notice is that his hair changed texture from a nappy texture to a baby straight hair. but the thing that i want to say is that aids is like a bullet it has no eyes and it cant see who its going to hit all it knows is that there is a target. yes we as people of the world need to wake up cause aids has no color and it does not care who catch it. there are a lot of people coming out of the closet and they dont care who know. aids have hit close to home. i have a cousin that is no more than 24 with aids and the way that i found out was through my mom, because she over heard a conversation he was having with a friend. his mother did not find out til the day he was involved in a car accident. they tested him and found out that he had aids but they had already worked on him before they found out at the hospital. yes we are uneducated about aids and people need to be more aware of the infection. believing that god has to last say of how we leave this world.
the only thing people need to do, especially young black women, is stop having sex with any nigga. i didnt know it, but my ex dated a stripper. i mean he could have gave me AIDS. my cousin and my uncle got AIDS. from now on im going to be careful, because i don’t wannna die young. i mean im just 22.
Its is sad that more people would read about drama than this. As I looked at the comments on the page of who is the real father of Michael Jackson’s kids there were at least 5 pages of comments and there are only 3 people who commented on Aids. I know alot of black men dont get tested at all. Black women get HIV not from white men but from black men who they trust. Im pretty sure there are more black men who has it than women but we will never know because they never get tested. I asked a great number of black young females how often they get tested and it is at least once a year because they automatically test you when your getting bc from a clinic. I asked they same question to a group of men around the same age and some say only once and others said never. But they are so sure that they dont have anything. Women, make your partner get tested!
mike i hear what ur sayin cuss that,s all sum of our black women do quick to open up there legs for money, trust me i had one @ that,s all she new was stripen @ hoe,en when there not hurtin us that,s why we go 2 white women cuss we don,t no what our sistas are doining out here
The problem I have with statistics is that the number that is tested is never shown. Not taking away from the problem but in order for me to believe what is reported tell me how many are tested 2 out of 3 is 66 precent. I do not believe our black women are the one’s most affected by this, I believe we are unfortunate enough not to have the proper medical care once contracted. We all have to do better by protecting our self married or not. My prayers go out to the people affected by HIV/AIDS it could very well be me or someone close to me tommorrow.
What the FREAK?
I am still scratching my head at this stupid article.
Why is HIV, AIDS being treated like Breast Cancer?
Like it’s some sort of diseases that is not preventable.
You would think that an awareness program would focus on prevention as opposed to testing..
very sad we need to be honoring our queens not killing them
I had to add, this is the other side of the coin, there is always two sides to every coin…and I forgot to add, your faith as in a grain of mustard seed……faith….GOD BLESS…….bjsenior….cont from the obove post……
I would like everyone to know, that African American women are not dumb and stupid, I get so sick and tired of the media promoting this bull, about Aids is running rampant in the African American women, wanting most to think that the media is always correct in their reporting, and they are not, it is just the reporters oppinion, and all these quotas need to be substantuated further,,,and trying to make all these women get this unreliable test is crazy, because I have personal knowledge of these test can be devestating…..I had a close child hood friend, that killed himself because of a false aids test, they said he had aids, and he shot himself in the head, and why did they call back and talk to his father, and said they had made a mistake, that he did not have aids, but he was already dead then, too late…so if you do take an aids test, check with 2 or 3 different oppinions, before you make a dissition, on the findings….and there are plenty of smart African American women out there, that know to obstain from sex, or use protection, and know how to protect themselfs,,,It makes me sick for the media, to always put a bad light on the African American population all the time, like we don’t know nothing, wake up people, we are GODS chosen people, and HE gives us much wisdom, to combat this old world, so don’t believe everything you hear, and less of what you see, your eyes can be decieving you, and your ears can be dull of hearing..Trust in THE LORD, not in man….and if you TRUST IN THE LORD, HE will see you through any and everything, and if you are single, abstain, and if you are married, and your mate is suspect in anyway, use protection, and most of all PRAY, GOD WILL PROTECT YOU….IF you have the grain of a mustard seed….GOD BLESS……bjsenior
First of all all of these things that are happening to blacks here in this country are plagues and curses that the MOST HIGH said HE would place upon us because of our forefather stubbornness by serving other gods HE said he would scatter us throughout the nations as slaves and we will be a mockery to many and we will be a disease stricken people HE SAID WE WILL BE PLACED IN PRISON HOUSES AND THIS CURSE WOULD LAST FOR 400 YEARS WELL THAT TIME IS ALMOST UP CAUSE WE CAN INTO SLAVERY IN SOMEWHERE AROUND 1619 IN JONESTOWN DO THE MATH WE AS GOD’s CHOSEN ones ISRAELITES NEED TO WAKE UP TO THE TRUTH AND STOP LISTENING TO THESE PORK CHOP EATING PREACHERS AND STUDY SCRIPTURES KJ FOR OURSELVES AND REALIZE THE BIBLE IS OUR HISTORY BOOK
another black woman finding a way to bash black men and blame us for everything. I like how she stated it by saying she was married to someone on the Down Low. Black women act like “down low” behavior is exclusive to black men, but it happens across all color boundaries. Stop blaming brothas for everything that isn’t right in your life and start looking in the mirror at yourselves….
IT SURELY IS KILLY MOST OF THE BLACK FEMALES MY MOTHER RECENTLY DIED FROM IT AND IT DANAGED ME A LOT BUT TO ALL THE LADIED THAT DO HAVE IT I WANT U TO ENCOURAGE U TO TAKE UR MEDICINE LIKE UR SUPPOSE TO BECAUSE THATS THE MISTAKE MY MOTHER MADE AND SHE WAS ONLY 38 WHEN SHE DIED SO PLEASE DO WHAT U CAN CAUSE I CAN TELL U FROM EXPERIENCE IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE!!
Man I feel wat you sayin but maybe sometimes we fail to go test ourselves to see if we have it and maybe she just didnt know that who ever she married is half his fault because he should have told her instead of giving it to her im 18 and all im sayin is dat we all need to strap it up even if we have been together for so long ….
leading causes of black women hiv
1.is working in the adult industry
2. having sex with white boys who are 80 more likely to be bisexual
3. dating homo thugs
who is at fault them for making dump decisions
