10 Steps To Build Your Dreams
What is “capacity” building anyway? Simply put, it is constructing your life so you can live out the dream and vision God has given you stewardship of. It is about filling the gaps and expanding your base so you can achieve the greater thing you are created for.
Capacity building allows you to operate at the maximum level. It attracts to you the resources, relationships and opportunities that come with your dream. It also allows you to continue to grow, expanding and enlarging.
Steps to Capacity Building
1) Possess the dream, the vision, and the idea!! Know that it will stretch you beyond you and require radical faith. It is important that you tap into God at such a level of intimacy until God can trust you with more than you. Read I Chronicles 29: Acts 2:41-47
2) Write it down and keep tweaking it until it is so clear even a child can understand it. You will have to be able to communicate it to others, selling it and the value of why it must succeed. Read Habakkuk 2:1-4
3) Read all you can about the development of your dream. Fill your space with positive, helpful information that under girds your dream and feeds your passion for it. It is important to understand your dream is beyond you and so you are required to stretch yourself.
4) Identify the components that are needed to accomplish the dream, goal, or idea. It involves strategic planning and demands that you see the bigger picture.
5) Identify any steps required to achieve your dream. Do you need any licensing or certification? Do you have to set up a corporation or some business entity to accomplish it?
6) Construct a flow chart of structure and order. This allows you to see who fits where and how they fit into the larger plan. As well determine what positions need to be first, second, and so forth. Important that you
7) Honestly and clearly define/describe the type of person that best suits what you are attempting to accomplish. This determines what you look for in those who either commit to you or you invite to be apart of your vision
8) Start involving others, maybe through volunteerism or part-time in compensation. Important that you enlist persons based on their ability to understand and embrace your dream. They connect because they can see what you say and it excites them.
9) Continue to add pieces and people as the dream moves into execution mode. Stay open to adjusting your strategy based on the growth of the dream.
10) Courageously stretch yourself and be willing to press the button so to speak.

What is the present climate of your life?
Who are you presently committed to in relationship?
Are you in a position to make this dream happen?
Are you willing to pay the price?
Are you equipped to relate to others in a healthy way?
Is there any preparation or steps required before beginning?
