Can you believe that a 28-year old man, identified as Evan Muncie, was able to live for nearly a month under the rubble of the market place where he was found? CNN is reporting that they were getting ready to clean out the area for the buildings’ debris and there he was…in the rubble. The hand of God has to be the only entity holding the life of this young man together.

He said that he saw someone in a white coat bring him water. The doctors that have encountered the young man since the rescue said he shows signs of confusion. He still, after being in a medical facility, thought that he was still underneath the crushing boulders. The only thing that seems possible is that he actually walked into the light, but God brought him back. There is no other way to explain the miracle this man is.

The possibility of a human being living without water for nearly a month is nearly impossible. There’s no way! Sounds like a miracle to me! And we know who is responsible for the miracles. This is an eye opener for him and the world as to what God can do. Check him out here and you assess for yourself:

Volunteer Carmen Michalska, from Aberdeen, managed to crawl into the tomb-like space where 24-year-old Haitian Wismond Exantus has been trapped for more than a week.

Barely able to move, and buried alive in a grocery store, he had survived on beer, biscuits and Coke, and banged desperately on the broken walls that weighed down on him to get someone’s attention.

He did not know if anyone would ever hear. He prayed, recited psalms, and slept.

Local authorities are being aided in their investigation by the state fire marshal’s office and the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Authorities suspected burglary at the churches, but Athens Assistant Police Chief Rodney Williams said the investigation is in its early stages.

“I would assume that it is arson, but as far as the motive, we will probably never know,” said John Green, pastor of Lake Athens Baptist Church, which sustained an estimated $500,000 in damage to its auditorium. “But our hearts are full and our spirits are encouraged. We believe God is going to bring something good out of this.”

(CNN) — On Thursday, Jimmy Jean-Louis finally received the phone call he had longed for: He spoke with his mother in Haiti.“I got a phone call from my sister who said she was able to reach home,” the Haitian native and “Heroes” cast member said. ” So I picked up the phone and my mom answered. The first reaction from both of us was simply to cry.”

The actor had been searching for his elderly parents in Haiti after a powerful earthquake struck his homeland. Adding to his desperation to find them was the knowledge that the house he had grown up in had collapsed during the disaster, killing several of his relatives.

Now he knows that his parents are safe physically, although they are sleeping outdoors for fear that their damaged home is not safe. While they are whole in body, emotionally and mentally his parents are in rough shape, Jean-Louis said.

“They don’t understand what’s going on,” Jean-Louis said. “It’s almost like saying ‘Why [are we] living?’ Shock is an understatement.”

The United States Supreme Court has decided to block cameras from a high-profile federal trial on gay marriage.From CBNNews.com

The San Francisco trial will decide whether California’s Proposition 8, a voter-approved ban on gay marriage, is constitutional.

Presiding judge Vaughn Walker had tried to stream live video of the trial to other federal courthouses and also on the video website YouTube. But the Supreme Court said his plan ignored a federal statute.

Lynne Marie Kohm, professor of family law at Regent University’s School of Law appeared on CBN Newschannel’s Morning program for more insight on the trial. Click play to watch the interview.

1. Google is not interested in a big splash. Back in the fall of 2007, Google announced the Android operating system, an open source system with an open handset alliance to go with it. Reviews were mixed, prognostications abounded, Google was questioned, and so on. Same with any product launch. But Google knew where they were headed.

2. Google has a strategy. The strategy was “let some other folks play around with this,” which is classic postmodern, collaborative thinking. Let’s see what someone comes up with. To much fanfare, and not a little disappointment, the first Google phone, the G1, was offered by T-Mobile. It was widely trashed, but still it was the first. “It’s no iPhone” was the big complaint. But Google’s strategy isn’t to be Apple – hardware and software locked up together. Google’s strategy is to control the entire computing “cloud” experience. Mobile is the next piece of that. Here’s a site that agrees with me.

3. Google is good at iteration. They keep making it better, in other words. Incrementally, one step at a time, no splash, just good solid one-at-a-time improvements. No Steve Jobs, no big gathering of fan boys, just “here’s what we did to push Android to the limits.” So now the G1 looks really ancient, and even the Droid is looking a little outdated. One step at a time.

You know…there is a saying, “When someone tells you who they are…believe them.”  I am a firm believer that you should watch what you say ’cause you don’t know who’s listening in the wings waiting for you to blow it.  Recently, Senator Harry Reid issued a public apology for saying during the presidential campaign, that Obama, as a black candidate, could be successful thanks, in part, to his “light-skinned” appearance and speaking patterns “with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one.” The writers, Journalists Mark Halperin and John Heilemann, of the forthcoming book “Game Change,”captured the quote and thought it would make great fodder for the public’s appetite.  The apology became a public spectacle and of course Harry Reid apologized profusely.  I am inclined to believe that the admission of guilt only came because he got outed.  He was hoping never to be held accountable–my thoughts.

But here’s my question…what in the heck is a “Negro Dialect?”  What is that?  I’ve never known there was such a thing and I’ve been a “negro” for many years now.  Oops!  Should I have capitalize that “N?”  My bad!  I mean…is it Ebonics?  Is it a slow drawl?  Is it broken ignorant language riddled with profanity?  Is it when your words are chopped with partially responsible verbs and sentences that begin with, ‘Uh..dis here is…”  Is THAT what a Negro dialect is.  Is is a textured voice seasoned with strength?  Is that what a Negro dialect is?  As my brothers and sisters on the east coast say–”Come on son!”  You’ve got to come with something better than that.

I found this recording of Rush Limbaugh’s show addressing the subject matter from his own psychotic perspective.

Now…what does it mean to be an “authentic”…”that he (President Obama) is not down for “the struggle?”  Who’s struggle?  What is meant by the fact the he has no traceable roots to slavery or the civil rights movement?  WTH?!   What does it mean to be a “genuine Black?”  Can anyone answer that for me?  I know I have a lot of questions today, but I really want to know what this garbage is supposed to mean.  What does this stuff mean?  Does being “authentic” mean that your skin is definitively brown because being light would suggest that you are perpetrating a fraud?  Does being down for the struggle suggest that you held hands with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and walked fearfully toward the blistering water hoses?   Does having traceable roots mean that you can pin point a direct link to Kunta Kente, Kizzie and Chicken George?  And good old Rush Limbaugh happens to think that Harry Reid was being, “complimentary.”  WOW!  But his rationalization is that, “Obama’s got a great gift…Obama can fool people…he was complimenting Obama’s being able to hide his half-blackness.”

How do you hide being Black?

Listen…Rush Limbaugh gets millions per day listening in on his retarded show buying into his ideologies about all that he rants.  It would behoove all of us to stay aware and not be disillusioned with the fact that we have a Black President in office.  Not everyone is singing, “Kum-Ba-Yah”

Hmph!  Authentic?!

Study is 9 months old, but still no warnings from cancer establishment

Less than two months since the U.S. Preventative Services Task Force issued new guidelines recommending against routine mammograms for women in their forties, a second breast cancer scandal involving a U.S. government panel of experts has come to light which has implications for healthcare reform.

An April 2009 study by Jessica Dolle et al. of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center examining the relationship between oral contraceptives (OCs) and triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) in women under age 45 contained an admission from U.S. National Cancer Institute (NCI) researcher Louise Brinton and her colleagues (including Janet Daling) that abortion raises breast cancer risk by 40%. [1]

Additionally, Dolle’s team showed that women who start OCs before age 18 multiply their risk of TNBC by 3.7 times and recent users of OCs within the last one to five years multiply their risk by 4.2 times. TNBC is an aggressive form of breast cancer associated with high mortality.

“Although the study was published nine months ago,” observed Karen Malec, president of the Coalition on Abortion/Breast Cancer, “the NCI, the American Cancer Society, Susan G. Komen for the Cure and other cancer fundraising businesses have made no efforts to reduce breast cancer rates by issuing nationwide warnings to women.”
