60,000 People Pray In Times Square – Where Was The Media?

(New York, N.Y.)-You may not have heard about this on CNN or MSNBC, but you’ll “hear” it here on BCN: On Sunday, September 20, 60,000 people gathered in Times Square to pray for one hour at a Christian rally dubbed “Prayer in the Square.”
According to a WorldNetDaily report, event organizers from Time Square Church had expected about 15,000 to attend but their expectations “were far exceeded at the third event of its kind in the last three years.”
Said Carter Conlon, pastor of the Times Square Church: “The Lord called us to host, fund and organize this event for the last three years. He told us that the first year would establish credibility with the city, and we have received positive feedback from various city agencies, including the office of the Mayor himself, commending us for honesty, order, and keeping our word. The second year confirmed to local churches that this was not the beginning of some new ministry but rather a gathering for the sole purpose of one hour of prayer, in humility, with all denominations represented and no personalities or ministry showcased. Those who have attended can attest to the fact that this has been so. Everything has unfolded exactly as the Lord impressed upon our hearts it would.”

It does not surprise me that main stream media covered this event. Pro God is not news but the death of him and His believers is always raising a brow. The world thinks at God has no power yet The Bible records time and time again about the faith of a few resulting in mighty miracles. I say keep the media and their way of living and God will have the final say. Amen
I feel like its a blessing that people would even considering praying. Gpd hears the prayers of the people who are really striving aftér him. I mean we all do wrong but by jesus we can be forgiven, if we ask for forgivness and belive that jesus is Lord and Saviour
We live in a very “HYPOCRITICAL”,society.The sad thing about this…Isn’t so much that the Media wasn’t there to cover this.But the fact that some of the very people in the crowd would quickly call some one a N’gger or go home to a closet full of Porn etc;etc;Not that their’s anything wrong with PORN,cause I’ve got a few really good flick’s myself!

Well, apparently the media has never shown up, so what’s the problem? This is our biggest problem, we live in such a media age now, that everybody has a need to get some camera time…Every organization wants media to show up..If you were there to pray to your lord, and he in fact heard your prayers, then how could the media showing up be bigger than that?
What were they praying for, Obamas demise.
