Church May Be Forced To Ordain Gays And Transsexuals

LONDON, England, December 10, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) – The Catholic Bishops of England and Wales have warned that they could be prosecuted under Britain’s proposed Equality Bill for refusing to allow married men, women, practicing homosexuals, and ‘transsexuals’ into the priesthood, reports the Catholic News Service (CNS).
The Equality Bill seeks, in part, to apply anti-discrimination laws to churches and religious institutions, requiring them to hire practicing homosexuals and ‘transsexuals’ for positions such as youth workers.
The bishops stated, however, in a new brief to Catholic members of the House of Lords, that the bill also defines priests as employees, rather than treating them as officeholders.

How can a trannsexual,..someone I categorize as ‘confused living in their own skin’, TEACH people the right path to take? And here they are living examples of directly telling GOD, “Hey, you made a MISTAKE so im going to go undo what you did and throw on some fake breasts and hips and be the REAL ME! maybe you’ll get it right the next time God!” The minute TS’s start being ordained in the church is the day I admit full well that the world has gone to HE*LL.
on 2nd thought this WOULD make sense letting Gays and Transexuals into the Catholic church….
since preists/nun are not allowed to get married or have children. so they cannot claim inheritance to all the wealth/property owned by the Vatican aka the remnants of the (Un)Holy Roman Empire.
plus this would be a good look for the church being ‘accepting’ of gay/TS people, thereby bringing more people under the umbrella of the Catholic Church.

The world needs to respect Christians like they respect all other religions. It seems like Christians have to compromise on their values. It’s like you can’t say Merry Christmas anymore.
YEAH….THAT’S SAD WHEN THE WORD OF GOD DOES’NT MEAN NOTHING TO HUMANS….IT’S IN THE BIBLE….PEOPLE JUST IGNORE THE WORD AND DO THEIR OWN THING….THT’S JUST SAD….I’M NO HATER OR JUDGE OF NO ONE…BUT…C’MON!
Well, being that Church has turned into a FOR profit industry, I suspect many churches will refuse to stand on moral ground on this, and ultimately give in.
Some day soon we are all going to be face with this issue if not already in the U.S.
The answer is simple. What did God say about homosexuality? (Lev 18:22 NLT)(1 Chor 6:9 KJV) Who do you fear? Man who can only destroy the body or God who can destroy both body and soul in hell? (Mat 10:28) The day is coming and for some already here when we as Christians are going to have to STAND. Love them with the love of God and STAND. (do not compromise)
