OPINION: Abortion Is Killing The Future
Do you know what the leading cause of death in the African American Community since 1973 is? Think about it for a minute. Is it heart disease-2,266,789 deaths since 1973, cancer-1,638,350, or accidents-370,723? Is it AIDS-203,695? There is one possibility that is often overlooked. It happens 1452 times a day in our community. It has taken over 13 million Black lives within the last 30 years. It has taken 1/3 of our present population. What is it? According to the Center for Disease Control numbers it is ABORTION.
Don’t believe it? Well, you don’t have to.The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has provided the tragic statistics. According to the CDC, since 1973, the year of the Supreme Court Decision Roe vs. Wade, 13 million (13,000,000) African American lives have been lost to abortion. The CDC reports that of the approximately 4000 abortions that are performed daily in the United States, 1452 of them are performed on African American women and their pre-born children. This means that although African Americans represent only 12% of the population of the United States, they account for 35% of the abortions performed in this country.
Those numbers may seem seem pretty high to ignore. Alveda King, niece of slain civil-rights leader Martin Luther King Jr., advocates righteous living as the only way to solve the problem of abortion. That may be the beginning of the discussion. Today school children are opting to be silent to share as witness to the silence of the unborn.We have heard over and over the cry of “women’s rights”. A woman has a legal right to decide what to do with her own body. She also has a right to know the serious consequences and repercussions of making a decision to abort her child.
Planned Parenthood was created as a direct answer to immigration and African Americans. The ABCL, the original name for Planned Parenthood became a legal entity on April 22, 1922, in New York. Before that, Sanger illegally operated a birth control clinic in October 1916, in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn, New York, which eventually closed. The clinic serviced the poor immigrants who heavily populated the area—those deemed “unfit” to reproduce. There was an understanding that “these women would drain and destroy the community”.
We really need to think about the future and what lies have been told to us. We are violating the one thing that is Prime. God gives life and only God can take it away.

This is a bunch of bull, abortion is saving black people. I wish people would see both sides of the issue instead of using this as a religious issue. If I get pregnant unexpectedly and I get preggo, I will surely be heading down that abortion clinic for 3 reasons. 1. I do not want to raise a child in this bias and corrupted society, 2. I have a bright future to think about and no stupid child is going to mess that up for me and 3. Children is not in my future.

This why I wonder about black people. Abortion is the legal way to get rid of us. Sure a few white might go to but if we can shrink the minorities we can take a few of our own. But well never learn will we.
People have been convinced and bought into this concept of “freedom of choice.” What people don’t realize is, if someone is totally shaping your perspective and opinion, then what you think is a freedom of choice is just an illusion. This body of ours is really on loan from God and we should treat it as the “borrowed” item that it is. Further more, since the only way God brings new life into this world is via pregnancy, its safe to say that the ONLY owner of that new life is God, so no one has the right to decide whether that new life should come to term or not! But Like everything else in this world, things are upside down! This is why for the life of me, I can’t understand why so many black churches in this country support Mr. Obama, when he is clearly pro-choice, and not to mention the fact he supported infanticide, back in his senatorial days!
