I agree that most of these people are not role models. Just because they are famous does not mean that I would model my life after them. Also because they are famous, what they say can often be counter productive, i.e. (Serena Williams publicly and repeatedly bashing black men.) I just feel the list could have been better.
Most of these people are stars not life role models. I know you did not use the term life role model but to often we do not properly use the term role model. Most of these people are role model for their given profession. We as a society and black community need to learn to separate the two so we can regain the lives of our young black men and women. We need to stop identifying who should be or is someone else’s role models.
