Smokie Norful Is “Live” and Justified
“Smokie Norful Live“, is the fourth project from the Grammy Award-winning artist. With this his first live album, Pastor Smokie Norful, Senior Pastor of Victory Cathedral Worship Center in Chicago, Illinois, imparts a message of hope, praise, love, and justification.
The project begins with the opening proclamation that “God’s Gonna Do It” (featuring Tye Tribbett) to the Sunday morning anthem “I Will Bless The Lord,” to “Jesus Is Love,” (featuring Heather Headley) which is a heartfelt cover of the hit song recorded by the Commodores and written by Lionel Richie, to the first single, “Justified,” an appropriate and undeniable hit song of forgiveness. Smokie Norful Live offers its listeners a true Sunday Morning experience, and ushers you into the presence of the King.
As expected, the project is well written, well produced and unquestionably well delivered by Pastor Smokie Norful’s signature vocals.

Pastor Smokie Norful is one of my FAVORITE artists, and I’ve got pretty much every one of his albums! This Live album has sooo much energy! It is full of Praise and Worship songs, usually with an accompanying choir- very very different from his previous albums that are made up of songs filled with the Norful’s vocals and maybe a piano and a few other background instruments. But considering that this was recorded Live at his church… energy was expected and this album follows through! One of my favorite things about this album is that Smokie continues delivering a powerful message through his songs. My favorite track is probably He’s Gonna Come Through ft another one of my fav artists Tye Tribbett. I also like Dear God, and of course the popular track Justified- mainly because the words in these songs have such great relevant lyrics to my life! I’ve had the album since it dropped in early May, so if you haven’t got it… go get it NOW! You will be blessed!
