This week on ‘Sunday Best,’ judges Donnie McClurkin, Kierra Sheard and Yolanda Adams are now down to the semi finals with this episode. Three voices were left instead of the traditional two to the shock of many fans last week. Kirk Franklin said it was the first time this had ever happened before. The artists were so good this season that they had to go to three instead of two. Anthony Brown opened the show with singing ‘Worth’ with Donnie McClurkin. William Murphy was the guest performers this week.
The theme this week was ‘Let The Church Say Amen’. When we say amen, we are committing to believing that we believe. It is the affirmation of God’s truth in our life as believers.
Zebulon Ellis chose ‘He’s Right On Time’ by Daryl Coley. This song was originally on a live album released in 1990. Zebulon said this song was where ministry met artistry. Kirk just shook his hand at the end of the song.
