Jonathan McReynolds Performs “White Christmas” on the Kelly Clarkson Show

Jonathan McReynolds brought some holiday cheer to the Kelly Clarkson Show this week performing “White Christmas,” a song about his grownup wish for peace.
“As I’ve gotten older, Christmas spirit is not always the easiest thing to tap in to. It’s like the end of a long, crazy year. Sometimes you really have to take a special effort to put on that Christmas spirit. That garment of joy. I call it my red and green,” McReynolds said after his performance. “So when I put on my red and green, it’s time for Christmas. Put on ‘Home Alone 2.'”

Like most of us watching, Clarkson was wowed by McReynolds’ moving performance.
“I feel blessed,” she said. “It’s so good. It actually took me a minute to get in the Christmas spirit this year and I was out promoting Christmas music. But its been a really weird year. It’s been a harder year for me to get into it, but that did it. I’m going to put that on.”
“White Christmas” comes from the gospel singer’s first ever Christmas EP titled “Red and Green” that was accompanied by a tour currently underway.
