Exciting Things To Do In Chicago In July

Start the weekend off with a relaxed wine tasting. Join Des at Crushed Fine Wine in the Shelmore Village Mt. Pleasant for a TGIF Friday night wine tasting from 5-7pm.  One of the best ways to kick off the weekend.  On Friday nights enjoy another ‘Moonlight Mixer’ presented by the Charleston County Parks & Recreation Commission. Shag the night away at the Folly Beach Edwin S. Taylor Fishing Pier, where Jim Bowers of 1340 The Boardwalk will be spinning the hottest oldies and beach music. The party runs from 7-11pm. Looking for something fun to do on Daniel Island.  Friday & Saturday nights enjoy great music, food, and fun at Daniel Island Grille.  It is the place to be out on the island.  Step in on Saturday night for DIG Disco, a party like no other, a fit for all ages.  Daniel Island Grille is located at 259 Seven Farms Road half mile from the tennis center.

How To Gain Inspiration Through Wanderlust

Join fellow karaoke fans at the Upper Deck 353 King Street from 9pm til 2am on Sunday.  It’s been rated as one of the best destination to have fun in the lowcountry.  Upper Deck provides a wide variety of songs to choose from.

The Charleston County Water Parks are now open daily for your enjoyment.  Visit Splash Island at the Palmetto Park in Mt. Pleasant, Splash Zone at the James Island County Park or Whirlin Waters at Wannamaker Park in North Charleston.  For more info call 795-4FUN.

The 2011 Charleston Farmers Market, produced by the City of Charleston Office of Cultural Affairs, continues on Saturday at 8 a.m., in Marion Square, to offer Charleston residents and visitors fresh locally grown produce and locally processed food products as well as distinctive hand wrought arts and crafts.  The CFM will be open each Saturday until December 18, 2011 and operates from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Stop by Winestyles (next to Belks) in Mount Pleasant Towne Center on Friday night for a themed wine tasting event. The party happens between 5:30 – 7:30pm.  On Saturday’s make an afternoon of it and stop by for special wine tastings from 2 – 7:30pm. Call the shop at 388-8233 for more details.

The City of Goose Creek will host a series of ‘Summer Concerts’ free every Friday thru July 15th. Performances are 6-9pm at Crowfield Country Club. This is a family friendly event.
